Be a part of history. Honor and preserve the important legacy of Dubuque, Iowa native, veteran and hero, Captain Robert L. Martin, a decorated Tuskegee Airman fighter pilot. Join us to complete the mission to commemorate Captain Martin's legacy. The mission includes naming the terminal building at the Dubuque Regional Airport (KDBQ) after Captain Martin and erecting memorial signage, an honorary plaque, and educational materials, including a video loop, with recognition of major donors.
The estimated cost to complete this mission is $100,000. Due to federal regulations, the airport cannot use their funds on this project. Therefore, donations are required for this effort.
