Is food available at the Airport?
FLYDBQ Café is located in the airline terminal. The restaurant's Winter hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The FLYDBQ Café phone number is 563-589-1723. When the restaurant is closed, there are vending machines for coffee, soda and snacks.
What is the price of parking at the airport?
Parking at the Dubuque Regional Airport is $7.00 per calendar day. Parking is paid in advance of leaving the airfield. Those that do not pay in advance, will be ticketed, and must call the Airport Operations Officer upon their return to make arrangements for payment. Parking is paid inside the airline terminal at the end of the airline ticket counters.
Baggage allowance and fees
Each air carrier has different specifications and charges for baggage allowances. There are generally no charges for carry on bags and a personal item, however the carry on bags must certain dimensions per each air carrier. Here are the links to the airlines that currently serve DBQ.
American Airlines Baggage Charges and Allowances:
Carry On Bags - You can bring one small carry-on bag plus one personal item per passenger as long as the carry-on bag fits comfortably in the sizer without being forced and does not exceed overall dimensions of 45 inches (length + width + height).
The maximum dimensions cannot exceed any of the following measurements: 22" long x 14" wide x 9" tall or 115cm (56 x 36 x 23 cm). All carry-on items should be stowed in an overhead bin.
Personal item - includes: purse, briefcase, laptop bag OR a similar item such as a tote that does not exceed 36 inches( length+width+height) and must fit under the seat in front of you.

Generally, the first check bag is $25, the 2nd checked bag is $35 and its $150 for additional baggage, but you must follow their rules for dimensions and weight.

There are disabled parking spaces available adjacent to the airline terminal. There are also disabled parking spaces available near other businesses at the airport.

The Dubuque Regional Airport provides a telephone device to assist the hearing impaired in the airline terminal.

Smoking is not permitted inside any buildings at the Dubuque Regional Airport.
How close is the nearest hotel from the Airport?
The closest hotel to the airport is about 3 miles north on Hwy 61. More hotels are available in Dubuque, some operate a courtesy shuttle that will pickup and drop off patrons that hold a reservation at their hotel. Also available are several Victorian style bed and breakfasts that offer a chance to relive the style from the past.
How long does it take to drive from downtown Dubuque to the Airport?
It takes approximately 14 minutes to travel from downtown Dubuque to the airport. The airport is located 6.5 miles south of Dubuque on Hwy 61.
